DREAMS COME TRUE

Hello everybody,

Welcome to my personal blog about Chicago Bulls. I have been a huge fan of Dwayne Wade since 2005. I have witnessed his memorable performance during 2006 NBA Finals. His game cannot be defined as a standard basketball game, but more likely a recital. You do not want to miss watching his games.

Obviously, he is not as young any more, but still you can see his ambition during the games. He is smart enough to keep his body healthy while pushing his limits during the regular season.

I have moved to Northern Suburb of Chicago this year. So did Dwayne :) I would like to think this is not a coincidence :) I had a chance to watch him live in 2006 in Istanbul while he was playing for USA National team. I look forward to watching him again, this time in Chicago.

Since a while, I have been thinking about buying a season ticket for Chicago Bulls. It was not an easy decision because Wade has become older and I am not sure how much he can play during the season. In addition, preseason predictions about Bulls game were so pessimistic because of their spacing issue that it was like a dumping money to the trash. I thought that it might not be the best time to watch Chicago Bulls but on the other hand, I could not resist to my love to watch D-Wade.

I am glad that they did a pretty impressive season start. When I write this post (before Lakers game), they were 10-6 which is much better than season prediction. At the beginning of the season, most betting companies predicted that the Bulls would win 38.5 games. So, 10-6 standing as of now is a good job. Chicago Bulls was on circus tour for 2 weeks. There is a huge circus in United Center every year so they have to play a lot of away games during this time, mostly against stronger western conference teams. That makes 10-6 standing more valuable.

I decided to buy season ticket late October just before the first game of the season. The Bulls organization offered me 35 games plan instead of 41 so I would miss the first 6 games. I checked the calendar and thought that it is not a bad deal. Right now, I am more confident about the investment which I made for myself. The first game of my season is against Cleveland  on Friday. I will share my experiences about the games. Feel free to leave your comments below. For the ones who have a season ticket, my location is Section 330 Row 2. Come and visit me. Hopefully, I am planning to upgrade my seat during the season if my job seeking adventure is finalized positively :)

Just my final words about the Cavs game:

Cleveland is doing very well. They are #1 in the Eastern conference with 13-2. They are much better than the Bulls and I believe that Lebron James will pay a special attention to this game due to his buddy D-Wade. On the other hand, their job will be very difficult due to very tight schedule. This is the second game of a back-to-back series for Cavs. They will play against L.A. Clippers just 24 hours before this game. This is not a good timing for the Cavs. In addition, the importance of Clippers game is much higher than the Bulls game because Clippers is the second strongest team in the west and I expect Cavs will perform their best during Clippers game. The only possible scenario that Cavs might win against Bulls, is to loose Clippers game early and rest the players for the Bulls game. Even in that case, it won't be so easy.

Good luck to Lebron James and his teammates. Let's beat them all 👊
